Miss Shaza Taha is a GMC-registered senior doctor working as locum Consultant Gynaecologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of gynaecological conditions. She has particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of premalignant gynaecological conditions, including detections and management of endometrial hyperplasia, cervical, vaginal and vulval early intraepitherlia neoplasia.

Additionally, Miss Taha has extensive experience in the management of benign gynaecological conditions, including fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, vulval skin conditions and menstrual disorders such as heavy, painful or irregular periods. Having worked in several leading NHS tertiary centres, she is skilled in investigating complex symptoms, delivering accurate diagnoses and providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.

After qualifying in Medicine and Surgery from Ahfad University in Sudan, Miss Taha completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Sudan Medical Specialisation Board relocating to the UK. She subsequently obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and completed the Royal College advanced training module in early pregnancy and acute gynaecology. She also holds an MSc in Advanced Obstetrics and Gynaecological Ultrasound, a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Warwick, and is an accredited BSCCP colposcopist and trainer. Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively involved in teaching, research and service development, ensuring her practice reflects the latest advances in women’s healthcare. She is committed to shared decision-making, ensuring patients have the information, time and support they need to choose the investigations and treatments that are right for them.
