KNOWLEDGE

Everything you need to know about the well woman check

Every year in the UK alone 7,300 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer, 55,900 new breast cancer cases.

A well woman check provides advanced preventative screening for common gynaecological disorders and breast disease.

Well woman checks help us test for any ovarian cysts and can predict ovarian cancer early whilst it is easier to treat.

You may be at a higher risk if you have a family history of ovarian cancer or breast cancer.

Well woman checks are preventative – don’t wait until you feel something is wrong! Early screening can save lives.
