"I have been under the care of Dr Eskander at the Gynae Centre since 2003.  Following a series of unhappy experiences under the NHS system when my gynaecological problems started, I found the Gynae Centre myself online and have been visiting Dr Eskander ever since.

The service that I have received from Dr Eskander has been outstanding.  He is highly professional, extremely experienced and very caring; a combination which has made my experiences so much more bearable when I’ve been so very worried about my health.  He has paid great attention to detail when carrying out diagnostic tests, ensuring that every possibility has been thoroughly investigated.  Whenever he has had to carry out treatment on me, he has always followed it up with phone calls and check-ups to ensure that I am well.  The after-care service was extremely attentive and cannot be faulted.  At no time did I feel that the care ended when I left the surgery.

In April this year, I had to have an investigative operation which Dr Eskander performed in hospital. Had I waited to have the operation on the NHS, I would probably still be on the waiting list now.  During the operation, Dr Eskander discovered that I was actually suffering from severe Endometriosis; a condition that he had suspected for some time, and dealt with the problem on the spot, whilst also carrying out further testing related to my previously diagnosed fertility problems.  Two months later, against the odds, I fell pregnant.  This is a highly unusual outcome, but I firmly believe that the work he performed during that operation contributed to creating the conditions for me to become pregnant.
